Totally tiled kitchen - anything I can do with it?

Is it the tiles you don't like or the colour? We used tile paint successfully in ours as brown tiles were foul. 4 years later we are re doing our kitchen but the tile paint is 95% as new. Just flaked on the horizontal surface that got wet.

Wait until you can redo the kitchen, then get marmoleum/lino/ANYTHING THAT's NOT **ing TILES!

It's the colour really as they're sort of shades of cream and on all the walls so it feels a bit too much. I've also got cream tiles on the floor but don't mind those.

I don't suppose you can remember what make of tile paint you used nutter as they're seem to be lots to choose from?

I would always go for taking them off if you can afford it. You'll end up with a far better finish.

I hate tile paint.

Tile paint is a no no in my book. Take them off and replaster. Paint what you want and tile what you want.

It was from B&Q, can't remember the brand I'm afraid... Just looked on B&Q website to see if I could jog my memory. May have been Ronseal? We just slapped it on and have been really happy with it. Slight problem was that it made our horrendous kitchen liveable and so it's taken us 4 years to get round to redoing it!
