We're getting a ground floor fitted with moduleo (similar to amtico, karndean, etc). The fitting cost we were given is much higher than I had expected, but I just called another guy for a quote and he laughed at it for being so low and said they must be cowboys. Now I'm really confused and wondered if anyoned had a price I could compare with.
It's 34m2, needs a latex screed because the concrete floor is a mess where the tiles came up. He's quoting £765 for the vinyl, £462 for the latex, £50 for ahdesive and £600 for the labour, total £1,875.
Maybe I live in cloud cuckoo land but I was expecting a total of about £1300. The other guy, who just quoted over the phone based on area size, said about £3,500! We live in London so I know everything gets marked up, but would like to know what anyone else has paid.
Thanks
