Where to buy stained glass?

We are hopefully buying and extending a small 30's semi.
There's a lovely stained glass window next to the front door and we are hoping to extend onto the side.
The architects drawings suggest a door on the side extension, next to the front door, with another window. Almost a mirror image.

I've been wondering if that window could also be stained glass?
Would this pass building regs as it wouldn't be DG?
And where to find it? Reclaimed or somehow get one made?

It's possible to get them hand made to match (at a price). I can recommend an artist in Surrey who does this if you are interested.(no connection to me!)

Does anyone know if building regs would allow you to fit a single glazed window?
