I would suggest that you dont lose heart and look at more kitchen studios to get a design done. Kitchen design is a skill that requires experience and most places that offer an online planner also offer a very limited range of product.
DOnt lose heart. There are a number of good designs out there.
it's good to get your head around the most important things to you on your wish list before you start - ie if you have a large family - then worktop ( for dishing up and prep work ) should be high on your list - also how you cook - if you nuke everything from frozen - your kitchen could be quite different to someone who loves to bake and spend days in their kitchen. rather than minimal time... if you desided to try and design yourself - be methodical - research into everything - it's not just a case of filling a room with stuff ! I'll happily go over your final plan, to safety check it, if you design it yourself. Check out my pro page on Houzz for some different examples of plans for inspiration on layouts etc if you like ! Alternitively, find a designer who is able to take the time to find out more about YOU. and you will end up with a kitchen that suits you perfectly ! it's a large financial investment, that you have to live with for a long time - so worth spending time to get it done right !!
