How many days should our DD wait before moving back to her newly painted bedroom?

We have just painted our DD's bedroom. She currently sleeps in the study. How long should we leave the newly painted bedroom to dry and the paint smell to go before our DD moves back to her bedroom? Any advice would be appreciated.

leave the windows open for at least two days. Fresh air dries paint, not heat.

Before she moves back in, close the windows overnight. The next morning, look at the windows for condensation (emulsion paint is mostly water so will cause humidity until it is fully dry). If they are still misty, or there is a strong smell, give it another well-ventilated day to dry.

Some people, incl me, get migraines from paint fumes, but usually only on painting day.

Many thanks, Pigletjohn. This is very helpful! We will definitely do as you suggested.

If she's as destructive as my dd, 25 years and then take a deposit.
