Odd shaped toilet

I have just moved into a 70's property and have an odd shaped toilet. I want to change the cheap plastic toilet seat but a replacement seat does not seem to fit. The only way to describe it is it has a nipped in waist? There is no name on it or any of the other pieces. Oddly the bathroom seems only a few years old and is white. Any ideas what this is?

This is a lick with different shapes.

I have no need for a new toilet seat but I've felt the need to read this post, follow the link & tell you I think my toilet is a number 9. Quite tempted to measure & take the required photos tomorrow to see if I'm right.
Maybe I could have a new career as a toilet sizer-upper.

Come on op! I NEED to know what shape your loo is now.

From the OP I think it is number 4.

Mine is number 5. Very boring.

Number 5 looks very standard. So, why is it not number 1,2,3 or 4? Are they more standard? More popular?
Emailing them to enquire about their toilet numbering system maybe something I need to do if I'm still up with a teething baby in a few hours.

what a funny website
handy to know I suppose. I have an ideal standard space loo which is sort of squished shorter to fit in a small space. might be one of them?

Thanks for the website link. I have studied it closely and none of them match my toilet. I have a plumber here today and even he has never seen anything like it!

A new WC might work out cheaper than buying a specialist seat every few years.

Stylish and novel design attracts buyer attention and may be a sensible choice for people with an abnormal shaped arse.
