Tv furniture mount/cabinet - can anyone help me find a nice one please?

I have been advised by the builder not to mount the TV to the wall as he doesn't think that particular wall will suport a 37 inch TV. I bought a wall mount and have instead had this put into my room.

Ideally I'd like it tucked away in a cupboard, but can't find anything suitable for the size with a shelf for the DVD/HDML player as well.

The painter was saying some new TV tables have TV mounts built in, so that if DD ran at it it wouldn't just topple over.

Can anyone help me find something that doesn't look space aged? Wood would be good Grin
TIA!

I am not sure about mounts built in but we have 2 TVs on sideboards in the house - one the living room and one in the playroom. So these are about head or shoulder height to my 3y old. Sounds like a recipe for disaster but both are on the stands the TV came with (lockable) and we have dedicated TV straps which attach to the back of the TV (built in place on Samsung TVs) and are then attached to the back of the sideboards (screwed into the wood at the back of the sideboard). So the TV is mounted firmly on the stand but is also strapped firmly upright to stop it toppling over. The sideboards aren't special TV ones - just a wooden charity shop one and an ikea one. This works well.

you can make a cupboard to size at Jali.co.uk and either fit it with a pop up TV mount from hafele.co.uk or have it fixed like Forago described!

Oneplan I love that pop up TV from hafele! Can it be retrofitted into an old side board?
