Help redoing bathroom top tips please :-)

I can't decide if I want the entire room tiled or half way up, if I want vinyl or tiled or wooden flooring. What sort of taps to choose and whether I want a glass shower door or curtain. I cant even deside on a colour for tiles. All I can say is it's quite a small bathroom so I want to make it light and airy and I don't want it to outdate quickly. Any tips, ideas or opinions would be be greatly recieved :-)
