Does anyone know the nearest Dulux colours to the following Farrow and Ball colours please? I am decorating a biggish house and need to save a few pounds but had already chosen my F and B colours. My eyes bigger than our wallets situation.

LAMP ROOM GREY
PAVILION GREY
BLACKENED
ELEPHANT'S BREATH
DOWNPIPE

I do know all the pros and cons so do not want to start a debate really but anyone with some experience of trying to match those colours would be great thank you. Then I will hotfoot it to Homebase to get some testers to double check!

Take your colours to B&Q, they will mix the colours for you ( dulux) they will mix whatever colour you want.

Thanks I thought that was how it worked but my decorator is using Brewers and they are trying to match up from the existing Dulux range... Disaster waiting to happen if he is colour blind! Eeeek

Go to b&q with the colour fan and they will scan and match it. Don't think home base will as they stock f&b, although I presume u could get round that by taking in a tester pot painted on some lining paper so they didn't know what brand it was.

The dulux mixing people should tell you that it will only be the closest match in their range, not an exact match. Ours does but so many people seem surprised when it's not identical that I guess they don't all make it clear.
