Order of stuff!

Been to see architect about extension. He reckons it'll be done some time after Christmas (we are at very first stages). Whole house also needs rewire and redecoration an bathroom needs replacing. Should we:

A) Rewire and redecorate while waiting for extension to be done (redecoration done sooner but two lots of upheaval)

B) Get it all done at the same time, then redecorate (less upheaval but means living in crappy surroundings til it's all done)

Also trying to decide whether to redo bathroom now or get it done with extension. Soil pipe will need moving as we're relocating separate toilet into bathroom

otherwise your newly redecorated bits my get tired looking sooner with all the build dust that will accompany your build work in the spring !

trust me - I've seen it too many times !! take this time now to properly plan and design it all well - so you don't change your mind halfway through the build - as this will add cost and take more time !! :-)
