How to convert fixed head wall shower into riser rail jobby? Help!

We have 2 shower cubicles (main and ensuite) which were here when we arrived, they are really nicely tiled, decent mixers etc but the problem is that they only have a fixed head on a metal rod coming out of the wall.

This makes cleaning a nightmare.

Is there a way to convert such an outlet into a riser rail set with a hose, does anyone know please?

I don't want to chip the tiles away so need to work with what I have got! But have googled and googled to no avail. Hoping it exists and I am just not typing the right search term so far.
