Is anyone decorating their house? Wanna be decorating buddies?

DH and I moved about 18months ago into what was quite a nicely decorated house, but all the furniture was from our separate homes, so don't really go with our new house.

The house is now looking decidedly shabby and I feel like I'm living in a rented house as nothing really fits or looks right and curtains etc are from the previous people.

We are having an extension built but things are dragging on and I don't think we will actually start building to sept, but I'm aware things will get dusty, so I don't really want to get new curtains etc but I could paint.

DH isn't really interested in anything like this so ill be doing it on my own.

Just wondered if anyone else had a whole house to do, and if they wanted to be my decorating buddy?
