And again urgent - moving - tel/internet

write to them in advance, stating the day you are going to move. You will have to ring them on the actual day because they might forget to do it, and they won't really trust you to move on the day you said you would.

I had this problem with Post office telecom, they didn't action my letter and carried on charging me rental on my old home for a few weeks until, not having had a closing statement and observing the line was still live, I called them again.

Telecomms companies are very inefficient (I worked for one for a while, and when I expressed my surprise, was told they're all like that).

The new house uses the same provider so hoping (naively) that it may be simple!

take router etc but you will need to ring your provider. I think it is that easy but might take a couple of weeks, at least for broadband.

Same supplier as mine, do i just notify and take router etc and it will work?
