New kitchen, I have some appliance questions.

I have decided on the new kitchen, it will be painted Shaker style and done by a local cabinetmaker.
I need to decide on the following;

110 cm Induction hob range, am thinking of the Rangemaster pro plus, any views?

Tall integrated seperate fridge and freezer (1772mm) prices seem to range massively, any ones to avoid or again any real recommendations.

I currently have a built in microwave, but as I use it so rarely (mainly for re-heating), am happy to have it inside a cupboard, so need ideas for a 400/460 cm microwave.

I will have more questions, have to decide on paint colours in the next 2weeks, that's another thread!

Thank you

We have a Rangemaster Pro range cooker (90cm duel fuel). It's mostly good but the grill is rubbish. The grill pan is on a fancy pull out frame so only has one height which is too high. That means you can't put anything very thick on the grill and if something puffs up under the grill you can't get it out. It's an annoying fault for such an expensive cooker.

Microwave - go for the slightly wider option. I am like you - don't use mine often so it is in a cupboard (make sure there is plenty of space around it). My previous one was a small one and again, although I did not use it often there was the odd occasion when if I tried to put a "normal" sized plate or dish in it it would get stuck.

Have you considered signing up to Which? - I did this as I was ina similar "arghh what do I choose" place over dishwashers and fridges.

I agree about the grill in the rangemaster. In every other way I love it but the grill is annoying. For example I have to put the grill on the 'floor' to toast bagels. Although in our new house we will have space for a fancy toaster so not so much of an issue I guess.
