We have EB on bedroom walls and SS on the woodwork. Works really well. Bizarrely darker colours can make it lighter if there is a contrast. If you aren't painting the woodwork and leaving it wood then go for EB although have just done our hallway in clunch and love it...

If you want to sell then go for SS. Is there any natural light?

I'd go EB, if it's dark already it's often best not to fight it.

If painting to sell, go for Dulux lookalike? We've just done the same and, rather than refreshing our F&B paint, we've used same/similar cheaper paint. After all, new owners are likely to repaint room by room anyway. (Love both colours you mention, btw.)
