Has anyone used Nabru (design and build your own sofa)?

It's slightly addictive, designing my own sofa. [saddo]

But I would be very interested in the quality of the outcome if anyone has one?

Yes - I have. I'm very happy with it. It was great value for money.

Self assembly was a necessary for the room it went in. It's also in the kid's den so it takes a fair battering and is holding up so far.

There are more attractive sofas out there, and it's pretty much unmovable once built - but it was perfect for our purposes. It doesn't look cheap and it's fun to build too.

Oh that#s good to hear! Thank you for replying.
I'm looking for a very particular kind of u-shape arrangement and it looks like it would be VERY expensive elsewhere, not to mention difficult to find exactly what I want.
I've ordered the fabric samples, so that's a start.

I'm currently sat on my Nabru sofa and very happy with it - its more comfy than the DFS one we bought and is now our main sofa.

We went for this one as it has a very deep seating area and is long enough to sleep on - was also the cheapest by far of all sofa shops! We trekked to their showroom to try it out and they were very helpful, also with sending fabric swatches.

Self assembly was easy, but agree that you can't really move it once assembled except to shuffle it a few inches. We've had ours for nearly 3 years now and still very happy with it, would buy from them again.

I would say our nabru sofa is ok but I don't think I would get one again. I don't find it that comfortable to sit on, probably because I'm short and the seats are so deep. This does make it good to lie on though.

Dh assembled it and although he is usually amazingly good at putting together flat packs he found it really tricky getting the covers on the sofa, although we eventually managed it together.

It looks ok and I suppose is good value for money but I think next time I'd prefer to spend a bit more on a better sofa.

Do you have a sofa bed part anyone? How comfy is it?

I've had sofa beds in the past and although they are occasionally useful, they do tend to make for both uncomfortable beds and uncomfortabel sofas!
