Thanks to your comments on Higham kitchens in various threads on here (I read a lot of kitchen threads), we went to see their workshop and loved what we saw. I wanted something matt and handleless and Tim Higham suggested making all the fronts from corian. Their fitters have just finished today - and I have been in and out of our new kitchen over a dozen times just to stare at how fab it is or open a random drawer. It'll still be a month or so until all the building work is finished here but I am sooooo excited.

I started out our kitchen search loving (but not being able to afford) the Bulthaup B3 - I think I even started a thread on here asking what to go for as a more budget alternative. Have ended up with something I love even more and would never have come across them without Mumsnet.

Pootle. Sounds amazing! I am glad you got something you really wanted.
