From the product info
Key features
- The curtains let the daylight through but provide privacy so they are perfect to use in a layered window solution.
- Heading with slot, hidden tabs and gathering tape; works on curtain rods, wires or KVARTAL curtain hanging system using hanging accessories.

Looks like it should be fine on a standard rod (using tabs or hooks)

Thanks Runs. Now I feel like a doofus for not reading the product info closely enough. You'd think a doctorate in law would have made me a good reader, eh?

Nah, not at all. The product info on the ikea site is a bit hidden. You have to select a tab, as it's not immediately visible when you select a product to view.

I just spend too much time on the ikea site :-)
