SOFA HELP NEEDED

I am desperately looking for a large corner sofa to go in a conservatory. I have seen one that I like at DFS but quite frankly the reviews I have read on-line re DFS have made me think avoid...avoid.

The sofa I have seen and like is:

www.dfs.co.uk/sofas/leather-sofas/savoy/left-arm-facing-small-corner-sofa/

Any recommendations on other stores I should look at would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

I love that settee, but like you said I don't like the DFS reviews. My Mum uses sofasofa. I am not sure if they do corner settee's but I know they are very very good. Mum had her last sofa for 15 years and only changed it because she redecorated and the settee didn't match. She gave it to a good home but it still had plenty of life in it.

Thanks for replying. I have just had a look and they do some lovely sofas but no corner ones ?

Hmmm. I ended up with a corner settee from csl. It isn't like that one though, although does have a lifetime guarantee that we paid handsomely for

We recently bought a sofa from Next, on their sale (were in the shop only to change a shirt...). It was a impulsive buy and it's great! They have some very nice furniture and I see they also have leather corner sofas...

Recent similar thread recommended this modular system

Also www.sofa.com/

Also look at iKEA Karlstad Ours isn't a corner one , but you can get them. We also bought a separate cover from savemy sofa which makes it look much more expensive than it was. They will post you fabric swatches, but it's a good quality cover IMO.

PS YOu can buy metal legs for the IKEA one rather than those standard pine jobs - makes it look much more 'Italian designer' ! :o

Many thanks to you all for your most helpful comments. The CSL sofas are amazing and I am looking at Next now and will pay Ikea a visit at the weekend.

That's a lovely sofa. We bought Dfs sofas about 8 years ago and they're still going strong. They don't use the best quality leather, but if they still offer the 10 year warranty then that says something about them. I used to say I'd never EVER buy from them as I used to hate their constant sale adverts featuring some really awful sofas but we loved the ones we bought and have been happy with them. Also the interest free credit over a few years made them more affordable for us at that time.

We have had 2 DFS sofas, they were both lovely. The latest was made of rawhide leather. Its comfy, marks just become part of the leather, adding to the texture, and it has aged nicely. Sadly, the dog chewed it badly, six months after we got it, but even so, its fab.
