What colour to paint a bathroom?

We're fitting a new bathroom, lovely rolltop freestanding bath. Floor is a sandstone tile. I want to warm it up a bit but nothing too garish. Green maybe? As in a very light green not lime or forest!?

anyone got any ideas? Hoping storage will be white and minimal.

Warm it up with towels, art maybe some wood - leave the walls white/cream.

yes! My bathroom is painted F&B Pale Powder, a beautiful soft grey green, but essentially a warm colour imo. Or ...thinking on, light blue, another f&b that can be blueish or greenish depending on the time of day and the light.

My bathroom is also f&b pale powder (great minds whattheactualjeff! Grin ) I love it, looks clean and fresh but also warm.

Not shocking pink, which is what my dear dead dad did back in the 70s.

Putting on make-up in the reflected tones made me look as I'd been in a flour fight.:o

We've got Farrow & Ball Stony Ground which happens to be pretty much exactly the colour of the stone tiles in the shower and round the bath. Looks really good (I wouldn't have thought of it, but it was like this when we moved in and we've just repainted the same colour).

So maybe look for a colour the same as the sandstone? f&b has lots of stone-y colours, as does Sanderson. Then your white fittings and white towels/bathmat will be a nice contrast.

Thank you. I had thought a colour would be better but now think you are all right and I should go neutral. Very excited.
