What colour walls to go with this green work top

We're having our new kitchen installed soon.

We are having this work top www.st-one.at/images/quarella/gemme_agata.jpg (don't laugh!) with ivory/magnolia matt cabinetry. The floor will be a oak.

So, how would you paint the walls. I don't want white but obviously the worktop is quite a statement colour.

Any thoughts?

Some kind of off-white/cream would probably work best. I think that any colour will be too much with that work top. What splash backs are you going for? Thats going to be the hardest part to match I would say!

We're having the same quartz for the splash back.

It's not as bad as it looks online. It's got a sparkle to it and I was really shocked when my very conservative DH agreed to it.

Just realised I didn't link properly so here it is again:

I would also go for a cream colour as you will have the green splash of colour and too much going on might make the oak on the floor look to much of a yellow tone if that makes any sense? Confused I have seen that green in RL and think it's lovely

Thank you Cowboylover for saying it's lovely. I've been having a bit of doubt over it.

Looks really nice to me! I'd also say a pale creamy/off white colour - eg Dulux Jasmine White or Farrow & Ball Pointing or Wimborne White.

If you wanted a colour then pale pink would go, I think, though not very in fashion at the moment. Or you could go for one of the beigey Farrow & ball colours eg Lime White or Clunch, which would tie in with the oak. But I'd stick with offwhite/cream personally.
