Day bed for teenage boy

most seem to be elaborate Victorian style ..... Looking for a contemporary version to multiple task in sons bedroom....any ideas

We have just bought this one from ikea Hemnes Daybed.

It is very comfy, has storage underneath and converts into a large double which is very handy for sleepovers....

Blimey, how tall is he? The mattress is 2m long!

My 13 year old ds has the Hemnes day bed and loves it - v comfy.

The details on the website for that bed say that the mattress is 2m long, the overall bed is 2.11m.
