is currently red and cream.
Victorian terrace, kitchen is yellow and the lounge is purple.
dining room s my scruffy family room where all the kids stuff gets stuck on the walls so I keep puttin off decorating because of this.
I want this light in there teal furniture is pine table, black chairs with red seat pads. and my desk which is a dark oak colour.
Maybe a bit to mismatched to actually be able to decide what colour to decorate.

How about Elephant's Breath, Lamp Room Grey or French Grey?

I reckon Pavillion grey or lamp room grey would look excellent with the teal colour you have in mind, without making the room feel too close / dark.
