Hello, just had mine done. Private fitter in SW London. Sourced all the materials myself - fired earth tiles (not all over) high spec fittings reduced on ebay etc. Came to £5.5K all in. delighted

Hi, our bathroom was finished last week. The total was about £6,400 which included installing new shower, freestanding bath, loo, sink, taps, new floor (Camaro, similar to Karndean), tiles (plus cost of removing old ones) and removing a small internal stud wall. Local fitters/plumbers in East Anglia.

The cost of the fittings/taps can vary hugely - we went fairly high end but used a local firm (recommended by plumbers but independent) to supply who gave us a discount for ordering all we wanted with them and chucked in a loo seat (£100!) for free. They also gave good advice on what was or wasn't suitable for our bathroom and pointed out possible problems etc.

The plumbers recommended not ordering stuff online as it can be difficult and take time to return if anything is wrong/damaged and proving that any damaged goods aren't the fault of you/your plumber. This was handy as we did have one faulty part and the plumbers took it back to the local supplier who ordered a new one (next day delivery) and sorted out returning the damaged one.

Good luck!

Ours was finished a month ago - came in at £5.7k - everything including the ceiling was new. Included moving a sink to put a shower in with new stud wall, new pipework for sink in new location. Bath and toilet new but in same place. All tiled - floor and ceiling. It looks great! There a a couple of piccies on my profile.
