we are in the process of buying a 3 bed Victorian house. At present it has small galley kitchen and seperate large dining with larder/pantry off it. Plan is to make it a large kitchen diner with utility where pantry is containing washing machine. The house is lovely with lots of original features and polished wooden floors and the dining room currently has a fireplace in it. I would like the kitchen cupboards to be sympathetic to the house so nothing too glossy, or shaker either, but not sure where to start. Not looking for pomp or elegance, just nice and cosy.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!
