Can a conservatory roof be repaired and if so roughly how much?

Oh great. Dd just pointed out this morning that there is a crack/hole in our conservatory roof.

I'm blaming our cats. They jump out of the bedroom window and land with a hell of a thump on the roofHmm They're always doing it.

The conservatory is about 11 yrs old so maybe the roof has become brittle. I don't know.

It's panels of (I think) polycarbonate. I'm wondering if just one panel could be repaired. Anyone know? And the likey cost?

panels can be replaced very easily and it is something that you could do yourself. Loads of companies selling panels so google and see if any where local sells them.

Am just about to have whole roof replaced- 4 panels total measurement is 4m by 3.5 m. Cost is £1200; but this includes fitting and VAT plus new glazing and support bars, fascia, guttering, flashing and 35mm heatguard polycarbonate

Thanks for your reply OsbegaEthelwulf that's very helpfulSmile

Am now waiting for a repair quote, but I'm wondering if the roof just doesn't need replacing really. It might happen again on another panel if it's old and brittle.

I hate having to spend money on uninteresting things Hmm
