Selling and Buying Property - all gone wrong

Really worried that we may never move! Is the state of the economy going to make it harder and harder to move?

House on market for 5 weeks all very slow and then a couple, eventually, put in an acceptable offer and we are able to put in an offer on a house we saw a few days previously. Yesterday we are filling in forms and talking to bank and I'm feeling really happy to be moving to a house with a garden and the possibilities for my DD to play outside and have space to learn to walk. Then today our buyers pull out because one of them has lost their job (which is awful for them) and we will probably lose the lovely house with a nice garden.

Now just worried that we will never find a buyer because things are so shaky for everyone and our property is more of a first-time buyer type of place. I feel so deflated. It will work out won't it?

5 weeks at the moment is not terrible Did anyone else want to view it before the ones who offered?

a couple of people looking for a rental property and another couple who were looking for their first property, none were interested. I was really surprised we sold so quickly. seems to be a lack of first-timers out there.
