House Name - Baking Theme

Help me please!

For reasons I won't bore you with I have got to come up with a name for a house we are moving to. The whole family want it to have a baking theme as there is always some sort of cake in the oven. I don't want it to be really cheesy so am hoping you can help.

So far, the best we have come up with is The Bake House - which is BORING!

It's just as well i am not buying it as i would be sure to name it something naff like "Another bun in the oven" or "The Cake House".

Think about the words associated with baking. There are different types of cakes, buns, puddings, breads, pastries. Then think of the ingredients, the cooking methods....you may get a burst of inspiration whilst doing the most boring of household chores such as supermarket shopping.

Look at the packets or if you get a few spare mins go to online supermarket products to see if anything springs to mind.

Baxter is a ye olde word for baker, I think specifically a female baker.

I'm curious as to why your new house needs a name at all. Does it also have a number? Our house has a name and a number, but we never use the name. A house with just a name and no number is very difficult to find because you have no idea which end of the road it is on or where it is relative to the other houses.

There is no number. The houses on the street are all named and it has no numbers. Only about ten houses though.

If your house has no number then it will already has a name, which will be used by the post office and every company you deal with to address post to you. If you change it you'll cause yourself all sorts of problems.
