Lounge/diner or kitchen/diner? Your votes please!

Getting money together to do work on our house. I don't think we'll stay in it forever as it's pretty small, so I'm keen that the work we do will add value.

At the moment our ground floor is all one rectangular room, having been knocked through years ago. The house is a 1930s terrace, and originally it would have had a living room, plus a tiny dining room and a tiny kitchen.

I want to separate the room into two decent sized spaces. I prefer the dining bit to be part of the kitchen, but don't want to commit to that if most people want a lounge/diner. What do you think?

Kitchen diner. I used to have a lounge diner and I loved it at the time but I wouldn't have it again.

Just getting my building warrents sorted, so I too can finally have a kitchen/diner. Fecking hate a wee kitchen and seperate dining room.

No brainer as you can see:) I hated the lounge-diner in our previous house with a passion.
