Wood effect tiling - naff or not?

Have a few samples for the bathroom, managed to get a good price - it was around £90 in Porcelanosa.

I'm generally not a fake wood person but these tiles seem such a good idea - they soften the look of the bathroom without issues surrounding wood use in a wet area.

We have it in our conservatory, I still love it now...personal choice obviously but we have had it down for nearly 7yrs and I'm not sick of it yet. My sister lives in the states and she says all the realtors are putting it in their houses (not sure if thats a good thing or not!!).
