I am sick of looking. It is a 1940s house. Dark wooden furniture. Beige carpet (which we might change to hardwood). Room is about 4m by 6m. Currently magnolia with beige curtains with large red flowers which I don't like.

Nothing too modern.

I'm open to suggestions!

Light? Dark?
Are the curtains going?
What have you looked at and rejected?
How do you feel about pattern?

I'm open to suggestions. Curtains are going. In an ideal world I'd have De Gournay chinoiserie style with metalics but we haven't won the lottery yet unfortunately!

Thanks, what is the budget per roll?

Hmm. no more than about £60 I would say. Although could always just do one wall. In fact I'm undecided about whether to do whole room or one wall anyway. that will probably depend on how busy the pattern is I think. Thanks for your help!

Sorry, but I can't do hyperlinks, so this is a list

Nina Campbell, birdcage walk
Ornella
Stradivari
Orchard Blossom
Barbara Halunicki. Diva or Hula, like the green hula
Villa Nova. Chervil
Romo. Kimura
Tamika
Samsara Collection

Comment on these, I am not easily offended and will try to come up with others!

more thoughts and this is it!
Osbourne and Little. Colleoni
Pompadour Collection (chinoiserie)
Lorca Imperium
China Dragon from Vintage, perhaps on one wall, have seen this and it is stunning
designers Guild Irise (nice colour)
Cole and Son Eastern Rose, Pergola
I have a massive soft spot for Cole and Son wallpapers and also think that the Nina Campbell Birdcage Walk book is well worth a look

Sorry for that overkill! I was giving you too much choice.

I have Barbara Hulanicki on my dining area, we are moving so have gone for a green metallic, its really lovely, we bought it on ebay as was cheapest and tried several other samples, which they will happily post for free.
My photos are open to view on my profile(nothing else but house pics) if u want to check it out.
