My kitchen needs to be tiled - I have plaster flaking off the walls and I'm fed up. But I have no idea what to do.
Surfaces and floor are slate coloured. Cabinets are solid wood (sort of light oaky/ pine). Walls are white - I want white tiles but nothing fiddly or too fancy and not too much grout. I had decided on bevelled rectangular ones (<a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=www.tiletown.co.uk/published/39/resources/Images/Gallery/kitchen/metro_white_new.jpg&imgrefurl=www.tiletown.co.uk/default.aspx%3FPageID%3D730&usg=__PIYP7daCGKTTBCN5O7h1jVuShXs=&h=270&w=299&sz=17&hl=en&start=0&sig2=hsreeHBRbGuvyYneYsSsIw&zoom=1&tbnid=uPxca3ppVr3JQM:&tbnh=131&tbnw=156&ei=6KMcTZWVFISwhQfOzai4Dg&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dwhite%2Bbevelled%2Bbrick%2Btiles%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN%26biw%3D1280%26bih%3D685%26tbs%3Disch:1&um=1&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=766&vpy=71&dur=90&hovh=213&hovw=236&tx=144&ty=118&oei=6KMcTZWVFISwhQfOzai4Dg&esq=1&page=1&ndsp=29&ved=1t:429,r:4,s:0" rel="nofollow noindex" target="_blank">like these) but wonder if big ripple/ flat tiles might be better. What would you do?
