Kids luggage for a nearly-four-year-old?

We've got a long holiday coming this year. Is a nearly-four-year-old old enough to have his own wheely bag? Will he wheel it?

And if so, where should I get one? There are some ok ones on ebay, but I think he'd be more thrilled with a star wars or incredibles one. I can't seem to find any online, anywhere.

ds has had one from 3. Make sure it has a long adjustable handle though, just in case you end up having to trundle it. Have to say we got a cheapish one from a luggage shop, which converts to a rucksack, but the zips etc are going so that "feature " probably won't get tested out.

Hmm, might have to hit the Disney store before we go away, then. Their website doesn't seem to have any, gr.

Tesco have some just now, although they're not terribly big but I did notice an Incredibles one. Can't remember the price but not too dear I imagine.

Ok, lots of options! I'll talk to DS1 and see what he wants.

How did you find it on the Disney store, Hausfrau? Which section? I looked in homewares and had no luck at all ...

Oh, wait, now I've found it with search, and it looks like it's a Violet one, although you can't see it. Hmm.

Maybe the non-working photo of a Violet trolley bag is a bit of a Disney in-joke?
