Would it solve the issue of getting a double for a newborn and a 2year old who hates walking, but wont sit in the pushchair for long?

Looks fun.

hmmm...not sure... it looks like it would be difficult to push - wouldn't you constantly be kicking it? Unless you walked with your legs quite wide apart but that might not be the look you are hoping for! ;)
Buggy boards are good?

QwertyQueen Sun 11-Oct-09 19:34:37

I spose it is good for tired toddlers tho

I would have thought as its part of the bugaboo buggy board I should be able to get behind in without walking like a clown......but then again after childbirth grin

Sally78-Have you had a look at a Joovy?

nowwhatbaby.blogspot.com/2008/05/joovy-caboose.html

We have one and we have a 9 month old and a 4 and a half year old. It's great as the car seat fits in (like a normal travel system) and ds1 can stand on the board (which you dont kick all the time as it is built within) or if they want to sit down they can as they have their own seat.
When the baby it too big for car seat you change the front adapter to a play tray and they can sit up as a normal buggy.
The ONLY downside we have found is that the baby can not sleep flat as there are only 2 recline positions but to be honest it has never really bothered our little one.
HTH.

I saw loads of Bugaboo owners in Spain with these, they looked fine for people pushing them.

Thankyou nobodysfool, no, I have never seen anything like that! Worth thinking about, thank-you.

bluebump thanks good to know as I have never seen one! Many thanks!

nobodysfool that is fanatastic.

sally78 I had a buggyboard on the back of my Graco travel system which caused me problems.

As my Graco was a rear or forward facing pram in one of the positions it meant my son had to duck his head under the handle and lean forward over the pram. In the other position it worked fine.

That one you linked to for the bugaboo may have the same problem if your child is taller than the one in the photo or if they wanted to stand instead of sit.

My son hated not being able to see over the top of my Maclaren Techno so he would lean shock round, not sure if you had the hood up on the bugaboo whether this would be an issue.

Plus I don't know whether you would kick it as you walked. If there is a pram shop near you that stocked it I would suggest trying it out first.
