At the risk of raining on Cod's parade...

... I must recommend the Lakeland laundry basket.

Compact yet capacious, light yet durable, easy to carry, elegant yet blue and yellow... well you can't have everything.

Anyway, it's great and every time I put my washing in, I feel just that little bit closer to Bree-dom than I did with my old crappy Addis one.

Laundry alert over.

I really really want one of these - been on my list of Lakeland wants for ages. I feel a shopping trip coming on......

I have a smug 'bree' moment every time i put my clean knickers in their lakeland 'drawer organiser' pockets.

Caligula Mon 06-Jun-05 18:21:50

Mmmmmm, drawer organisers. Must find.

suedonim Tue 07-Jun-05 10:44:54

Well, I want these and these.

Also, I still want the bungy ropes. Dh asked me why I wanted them; you don't need a reason for buying things from Lakeland, do you - surely just wanting them is reason enough?

<snort> at this thread. I want a laundry fairy. My kitchen is currently barely visible under piles of dirty washing.

Can't find the drawer organisers anywhere. Searched on drawer and organisers, and couldn't get them. What section are they in?

I need this as I dropped the pyrex lid of my rather expensive frying pan and it shattered into a million pieces. Problem is if I start ordering I'll spend a fortune.

grumpymarthamoo Tue 07-Jun-05 13:59:57

It is indeed fab, cod.

Spookily enough I have one of those too. And a wicker basket. I do too much washing.

Puff Tue 07-Jun-05 14:01:49

Think I might get one, ds1 and 2 keep using my addis one to try and climb onto things.

Anyone one here got the green bags that are supposed to keep veg fresh? I thought they were rubbish - their herb saver however is really good, oh and the little Mary Berry flour sifter.

Caligula Tue 07-Jun-05 14:02:43

Green addis tub...

[superior emotion]

WideWebWitch Tue 07-Jun-05 19:07:36

What's so great about the blue basket? Now I've looked at the link I can't see why it's worth a tenner when I can get several for that in Asda or somewhere.

Gomez Tue 07-Jun-05 19:10:17

I find an Ikea bag, with the same fetching colours does an outstanding job!

roisin Tue 07-Jun-05 19:10:24

What's happening to me? I haven't ordered from Lakeland for ages! I got the catalogues out yesterday for a browse: the product I was looking for wasn't in any more, and nothing else particularly tempted me
