they look fab, do they stay put or wriggle up or down?

Mine arrived yesterday and they great...they stay put and don't wriggle down smile carry my baby daughter in a sling all the time, so these will be great for keeping her legs warm grin.

What exactly are they for? I carry my DD everywhere in a sling and always hear about them but I don't get it! Why not just put them in a babygro or leggings?

i use them when dd4 is in a sling, as her trousers ride up and they stop hat little gap between sock and trouser getting cold. also handy instead of tights, as i hate putting tights on a wiggle baby. they also last for ages, as all my dd's pinch them when they want their arms covered for soft play (can only go down the big slides if you have arms covered and its too warm there for long sleeved tops.), and for extra warmth under school trousers.

Thanks! Just ordered some for DD2

Ah ha I see...

I guess this is why I've never noticed the point as DD hasn't been out of babygros yet. What a good idea for in a few months though!
