My veg and fruit are going yuk in them - have followed instructions and am unimpressed.

I bought some of these and have to agree I didn't think they were any more effective than the fridge alone...

the green ones?

they are brilliant IMO

Puff Sun 05-Jun-05 19:17:43

Enid - what are you doing with them that I'm not - divulge your secret .

Enid Sun 05-Jun-05 19:18:36

I do fasten them with the brillo Lakeland clippy things maybe that is the key

Puff Sun 05-Jun-05 19:20:37

I do that too .

There's a fair bit of moisture build up - does this happen with yours Enid?

Gawd, even I think this is a dull thread now .

However, I was excited about the miracle and disappointed when it didn't work!

yes there is (moisture - hausfrau apologies for use of word).

how long do you keep stuff for?

I find fresh salad lasts a full week whereas otherwise only a few days?

Puff Sun 05-Jun-05 19:26:46

Maybe I'm expecting too much - veg (eg carrots) keep well in the bottom of my fridge for over a week and I thought they would last even longer in the bags. I seem to remember someone saying stuff keeps for a couple of weeks in them.

Enid Sun 05-Jun-05 19:27:28

yes carrots should keep for two weeks. Mine do.
