I'm so so so so glad you had a positive experience. Faboroony.

Still no help on the car seats though, although I do heart our Britax 0-4 as its financially fab and looks very comfortable. Not isofix though....so not much help....I'll go now......

maxi cosi got good which reviews, fits on loads of prams and seems a bit bigger than others so baby lasts longer in it.

Congrats btw!!!!

OK - top one is Maxi Cosi Cabriofix with Easyfix base (the Easyfix base is Isofix) - score 82%, price £190.

Second Britax BABY-SAFE plus (Isofix) - score 81%, price £195.

Third is Recaro Young Profi Plus with base - score 78%, price £160.

Let me know if you want more detail.

Habbibu Thu 30-Jul-09 13:45:30

We have the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix and Easyfix base. They are fab and so easy getting in and out of car.

I think the babysafe is the more recent one to ours bought 3 years ago. I would always go with britax as I find them reliable

another one for Maxi Cosi cabriofix with isofix base. Brilliant just being able to drop the infant seat into the car and knowing it's properly fitted.

GoldenSnitch Thu 30-Jul-09 14:18:04

I loved my Maxi Cosi Cabriofix with Easyfix base so much, when we came to get the next one up I went straight for another Maxi Cosi (which I love just as much)

It's fab. So easy to fit and comes with a built in sun sheild and a lovely head hugger for teenies. Cannot recommend it enough.

Sheeta Thu 30-Jul-09 14:22:53

think it's one of the safest as well. The only thing I didn't like about it was that in our car (VW Golf) the seats slope a bit, so when you have the easyfix base as well it can make the seat a little bit too upright.

DS always slept fine in it though..

we also have the maxi-cosi,dont have the isofix base though, but its a great seat, one of the lightest to carry too,

Hiya,

I have a Britax and Maxi cosi one - both with isofix base.

Personally - prefer the britax car seat but am selling because maxi cosi is compatible with my Bugaboo.

I am selling the Britax with the isofix base (seat is in immaculate condition and a gorgeous fabric too. Let me know if interested.

Congratulations! x
