Best kite we've ever had was an ASDA cheapie (around £2.99 IIRC) has lasted ages, rainbow colours, diamond shape, will fly in a breeze, it's so easy you can lie on the beach with it tied to your toe
I've had lots of kites over the years. Stunt ones etc. But this on was really good and is coming into it's 3rd year, and my 4 year old can get it up and move it around in the sky.

We've got some from ome Bargains that cost £1.19 (only a couple of months ago).

They come in a little bag about 10x15cms and are just fabric fold-outable ones with a long pretty tail. They fly brilliantly well even in light brezzes and ds1 (3 1/2) loves them!

Home Bargains - sorry!

I can't find that ASDA one anywhere for you either
but it does look very similar to that.
