Looking for a pushchair? Find out which stroller is our Mumsnet Best of 2017!
Most are only safety tested to that limit in this country.Mine was in a buggy at 3 stone!Baby Jogger City Mini good for big ones, folds and pushes easily but it's not umbrella fold.I hate strollers, my sons feet always trailed on the ground and small wheels were hard to push him. I loved my Zapp though but no recline.
agree its just because they are tested to that limit. i haven't even a clue what my chunky 2yr old weighs
I still use my Mclaren occaisionally for my 18kg 3 year old if I'm walking miles (I don't drive). It's getting harder to push up hill mind .
I occasionally use a cheapy tesco stroller for ds who is 18kgs at 2.9 years.
My ds is a big boy and ive got the baby jogger city mini. its fab hes got loads of room and the weight limit is more than that but i cant remember exactly what it is, sorry.
All UK buggies and prams are tested to 15kg by British Standards.
