they are about £15ish i think?? well, are they really any good? I have had a condenser tumble dryer thats been nothing but trouble and I have given up repairing it. I am debating going back to a vented one, but since we had our last vented one, we have moved house, so where we are now, theres nowhere we can put one thats near a window or door. Thanks in advance!

We used to have one- it was ok tbh, but I'm a bit scatty and forgot to fill it up with water when I needed too. That wasn't the reason the drier broke, by the way. The drum dropped and the temp button was broken too.

oh so you have to actually fill it up with water??

we had one,and you had to fill a bit with water then freeze it before you used it,(i think i bought it from betterware, for about £15) it was RUBBISH,
we then spent £15 on a proper vent kit,and got the joiner to fit it for us,
it is GREAT, we have just moved house so need to get one fitted here, but i would def reccomend it over one of those stupid boxes,

They are useless. I tried one for a while, seemed OK, then when I moved the tumble dryer away from the wall, there was a huge patch of mildew there from the damp air. It was a rented house so I sneakily repainted the entire wall and got away with it..

I switched to a condenser dryer, which was better but found I still needed the window open.

I now have an AEG washer/condenser dryer which I can't recommend highly enough.

agree they are useless.....

they are crap. tho mine came with no instructions so had no idea you were supposed to fill with water blush

Crap. You have to freeze blocks, like the things you put in cool boxes. Of course, I never had any ready when I wanted to do drying so I now stick the hose out of the window. The whole thing is a PITA actually. I wish I had a utility room envy

I agree - totally rubbish got one hardly used in the garage but too big to post or you could gladly have it.

lol,get one of the things for the wall, its only £15 you just get ( a builder/joiner) to drill through the wall,it took us an hour to drill through as we have stone walls, but WELL worth it,
we have just moved so waiting for the joiner to come and drill the wall again, atm its in the shed outside and it's such a PITA!as i only use it when its raining,so it means i get soaked going out to use it!
