Can someone please tell me when they say a 10ft tampoline do they mean the bed size or the entire diameter of the safety net inclusive?

Does that make sense?!!

We have a fairly small garden so size is important so don't want to buy a 10ft trampoline to find that actually its 12 ft by the time you have added on the safety net etc..... Thanks!

Any things I should be aware of when buying one, things to look out for/avoid?

I know it doesn't answer your question but there's an 8ft trampoline reduced to less than 80 pounds in B&Q at the moment- here

ooh thanks for that link moshie ... am tempted. Does anyone know whether 8 ft is really big enough - we have a fairly big garden but don't want it taken up with a trampoline! I guess that realtes to Barmymummy's question as to whether it is really 8 ft or 6 ft or 10 ft for an 8ft? Would 8ft last a 4 year old a good few years?
