I really want it!!!!

I have a 20% off voucher and DP is going to give me £20 towards it but it's just sooooooooooo expensive.

I'm being told "Cost per usage" hmm

Can I really justify it?

You don't need a specific changing bag (how much stuff do you want to haul around?)

It'll tip your buggy over.

Spend the same amount on a really nice handbag (loads of big ones around) that you really will use a lot.

You KNOW you won't want to use this as anything other than a changing bag (imagine going into work with it) because you will KNOW it is one.

any help?

<<puts on list for new baby presents>>

You so need it. Imagine how smart you will feel. grin

Think of cost per usage plus you could always sell it on ebay when you have finished.

You I need one.

have you seen pink lining bags? a bit cheaper.

TrillianAstrahasaJOB Fri 26-Jun-09 14:09:42

OTOH you culd use it as an overnight bag after you no longer need a changing bag.

According to your profile your youngest is 3 mths old.

Do you need/will you need all those bottle pockets etc.?

You SO do not need the matching wipe-down changing mat which will rip and end up skanky.

HaventSleptForAYear Fri 26-Jun-09 14:11:37

But Trillion she'd know it had been a changing bag.

Why not just buy an overnight bag and be done with it.

The beauty of having a cheap changing bag is you can take it with you to toddlers, leave it unattended while you take dc to the loo, go and put kettle on and not be the slightest worried that someone is gonna nick it cios who would want your crap changing bag containing nappies and wipes? I would be very paranoid that someone would nab that one in pic - plus it looks like it would be awkward to get things in and out of...

But have you seen the lining? It's gorgeous! Plus it's leather.......
I am a Childminder so I will gets LOTS of use out of it, plus it looks like a normal handbag. I can't think of any reason not to buy it except MONEY!

Will "only" be about £110 once discount taken off and money from DP......

FruitynNutty Fri 26-Jun-09 14:23:29

Not entirely sure about those Pink Lining bags. Not really "me" but nice try! smile

FruitynNutty Fri 26-Jun-09 14:24:57

The thing about the toddler groups is I know most of the people there so, with any luck, it shouldn't get snatched.

Scorps Fri 26-Jun-09 14:25:13

i own of their bags - nice

FruitynNutty Fri 26-Jun-09 14:32:28

I've actually been looking at the Babymel bags but fancied something leather. I really like the red poppies one and the black and white floral one

FruitynNutty Fri 26-Jun-09 14:33:12

can you get lots in the babymel? I use bottles and they take up LOADS of room

HaventSleptForAYear Fri 26-Jun-09 14:34:00

Oh alright then, you're a childminder, it's your JOB!

Get it then. grin

FruitynNutty Fri 26-Jun-09 14:39:41

Reckon I can claim against tax? wink

FruitynNutty Fri 26-Jun-09 16:57:29
