Is there a carseat for a 3yr old that last longer than until 4?

DS2 needs a new carseat and really could go into DS1s (Maxi cosi tobi) but the only ones I can see for a 3 yr old last until they are 4 (ie. the one we have) Is there any that last longer?

Thanks

There are some that last from 1-11 (or whenever they don't need a child seat anymore). Been a while since I researched, but I seem to remember the safety ratings weren't great.

Why don't you want to use the tobi? It's a fab seat!

We've got one of the 2-12yr ones, and it was well rated for safety. It has a proper 5 point harness up until they're 18kg (about 4) and then you can change it over to a seatbelt. At the moment my 2.6 and 5.6 year olds go in it and both fine. Only thing is ours doesn't recline so not as comfy as the maxi cosi for 2.6 yo. As far as I could tell, it's far safer to have a 2-4yo in a 5 point harness until they hit the weight limit for the next stage.

Thankyou! I would keep using his Tobi but it means buying DS2 one (£180) for the old one to be sitting in the garage in a year. Poor DS2 though gets a hand-me-down though and DS1 gets another lovely new seat!

Hmm... says 15kg + which is the same weight the 4+ seats give. I think I need to weight DS1.

The Safety 1st Tri-safe is good. From 9 mnths to 11 yrs and grows width-ways as child gets bigger.
