TP slide - Straight or bumpy for Explorer frame?????

We have the Explorer climbing frame and want to add on a slide for dd2's birthday. She will be 4. Dd1 is 6 and obviously uses the climbing frame too.
DD2 wants the bumpy slide but I think the straight one will have more appeal long term. Which would you recommend? TIA

we have the bumpy one, not sure of the frame.
I would get straight (ours was 2nd hand).

We have the straight one - tallest possible option, with extension.

It's really fast and the girls (aged 6 and 3) love it.

Thank you. That is my gut feeling. Is it slow?

VanillaPumpkin Fri 05-Jun-09 19:44:58

Oh, I meant is the bumpy one slow?

straight - we have this and DS loves it. Next door have the wavy one and their kids prefer ours - more speed, especially with the extension, and even better if you've just come out of the paddling pool!

DD's friend has the bumpy one and it definitely looks slower. I am blush too heavy to try it for myself sad.

I am sure my arse wouldn't fit down the slide for me to try it!

I am glad you seem to be agreeing with my gut feeling.....just dd2 to persuade now <sigh>

not sure about slower as such, although it probably is. Just that the bumpy one seems uncomfortable.

Lol at uncomfortable. I am convinced grin
