What's the ugliest item you've seen on sale?

Have seen some really ugly items, large and small, while out and about recently. Topping my list atm: (No I'm not going to apologise if your heart's desire is here; you can say what you like about my taste - I won't mind)
- the new Land Rover Discovery. They've given it a facelift that makes it look like a scouts' minibus
- the current fashion for buggies which not only become a travel system, (fine if that's what you want) but are then cluttered up with the extra travel system hood, a drinks holder, and about 15 toys for the tiny occupant, all dangling off the front
- those Bugaboos; just don't get them
- Hummer 4wds imported from USA

I really hate the look of the multipla(?) car. However, could be persuaded to give it a go if anyone wanted to give me one.

I wouldn't care how long that had taken to come down the birth canal, I would order them to put it back, it looks like an alien.

That doll is SCARY!!!
I agree about buggaboos. Very ugly!
There seem to be lots of ugly buggies around ATM!

kaytee Wed 04-May-05 23:30:04

I wish I hadn't clicked on the link. That "thing" is going to give me nightmares. Just think about the market it must be aimed at. Don't want to go there but can't help it. sweet dreams Martha Viola

FWIW that doll beats my vile SIL, it is a close run thing, but the doll wins

BadHair Thu 05-May-05 00:12:42

Have to ask LGJ, who is your vile SIL and why is she selling her photo?

BadHair Thu 05-May-05 00:13:11

Test, think I've accidentally changed my mn password.

BadHair Thu 05-May-05 00:13:31

No I didn't. Sorry, ignore me.

tortoiseshell Thu 05-May-05 00:35:46

Think this beats your ugly doll, though it doesn't have a heart beat

nightowl Thu 05-May-05 01:06:30
