i've seen these now in a few places, but been reluctant to buy; has anyone used them and have they made weaning life easier? ds is 10 months old and will fling the bowl of food if given the chance.

thanks!=D

No - because baby stronger than suckers. they just rip em off adding further force behind flying food

lol flum!! You're on form today!

I found the same as Flum. Or if the sucker is strong baby can chuck bowl/mat/plastic tablecloth all together, which is even worse.

On the plus side, trying to prise the suction off the tray does distract for a few minutes while you shovel food in

Don't waste your time. We ended up removing all suckers.

If I said BAG OF SHITE would you get the idea

You said it, Flum.

If the young master is flinging, then he's not ready to have access to the whole bowl. Give him a bowl of his own, with the tiniest amount of food in it and a spoon to mess with while you keep the real stuff well out of his reach.

So, just to recap, no good then?

Flossam Wed 27-Apr-05 21:14:31

Ohhh, looks like I must get some of those!!

PrettyCandles Wed 27-Apr-05 21:17:20
