Must be tired it took me three attempts to spell that shock

does anyone have or recommend them?

I really want them but the reviews look poor!

Depends how often you use your dishwasher. Ours is on every day so it would be a waste.

RiaParkinson Tue 17-Feb-09 20:48:17

most are this make

RiaParkinson Tue 17-Feb-09 20:49:18

mine is on twice a day? would it be good for me Aitch?

thisisyesterday Tue 17-Feb-09 20:49:36

ahh ok, i see now.

i don't ahve one, but the one i do have has various diff settings and can be set to do a half load, so essentially does the same job as far as I can tell.

AitchTwoOh Tue 17-Feb-09 21:07:29

well... i dunno. i put one drawer on once a day, then the dishes sit there until they go back dirty into the other one, iykwim? so that's why i love it, i rarely have to empty the dishwasher.

i think if i was emptying both drawers twice a day it'd be much like having a normal dishwasher, wouldn't it? although it is easier to empty...

i don't know. i find it washes dishes well but like so many modern dishwashers it doesn't dry them as much as the old ones. again, that's good for me, uses less leccy and i'm not bothered about having baked crockery.

thisisyesterday Tue 17-Feb-09 21:09:17

ahh now I do like the idea of not having to empty it!!!

RiaParkinson Tue 17-Feb-09 21:11:40

i see

i quite like the idea of washing bits....bottom drawer could be on whilst top is being emptied

AitchTwoOh Tue 17-Feb-09 21:17:56

yes, that's the ticket. we have a small kitchen so it keeps things clean(ish).

RiaParkinson Tue 17-Feb-09 21:19:05

and you have found that make to be good Aitch?

IlanaK Tue 17-Feb-09 21:23:04

You could always do what my step mum did - install two dishwashers so that she could just transfer from one to the other!

AitchTwoOh Tue 17-Feb-09 21:24:08

well, yes, but i haven't much to compare it to tbh. i think the only other one i've used was an electrolux, so it's not like i've had a stable of mieles. grin

it cleans our dishes, and it sings the opening bars of 'sit on my face and tell me that you love me' every time i open it. that makes me happy. wink

thehairybabysmum Tue 17-Feb-09 21:30:56

I had a single drawer one in my old wa fab. I will buy one agin when we do the kitchen here.

AitchTwoOh Tue 17-Feb-09 21:32:48

did the single drawer play a tune when it opened?

RiaParkinson Tue 17-Feb-09 21:38:35

i wish it did Aitch you have set me up for disappointment now

AitchTwoOh Tue 17-Feb-09 21:46:00

grin you'll all be singing it.

thehairybabysmum Tue 17-Feb-09 21:52:03

it did a little beepy noise, hadnt twigged it was a tune though.

AitchTwoOh Tue 17-Feb-09 21:55:03

lol, i don't think it was deliberate. but that tune is the first four notes of 'sit on my face'. it took me and dh A While to work out why we kept singing it every time we went into the kitchen. grin

RiaParkinson Tue 17-Feb-09 23:21:44

how funny aitch

that could be the tune to their advert!

Ponders Tue 17-Feb-09 23:35:55
