It is basically a bicycle seat that clips on to the bar in front of the main saddle and has a little harness and footrests that clip on to the central bar. it says suitable from 2 onwards but it just doesn't look stable enough to me. DH is going to lose patience with me if I express too much anxiety about it but I am dreading him taking DD out on it! Anyone any experience or thoughts?!

Thanks v much

Errrr, not sure, depends on the 23 mo I think. My dd2 is 23mo and dh cycles everywhere, I wouldn't be happy with her in this. I looks like it depnds on the child being able to hold on and not fling themselves off iyswim. I don't think our dd2 could be trusted with that aspect of it just yet. At xmas she scared us by attempting to launch herself off a very sedate looking teacups ride.

No. What ProfY said, plus I wouldn't trust the thing not to spin around. I did know a keen cyclist who rigged up similar for his bike about 20 years ago, but for older children and screwed into the top tube!

No. I wouldn't want my almost 3 year old on that.
