Debenhams- Cancelling my order with no reason given

I placed an order yesterday for an item of clothing that was in their clearance section. Paid for it with a debit card, plenty of money in my account for the order to go through.

Had a conformation email straight away, but then this morning they have sent a cancellation email saying that they are unable to process the order, but haven't given a reason. It just says to rest assured that my card won't be charged.

The item is still showing as in stock on their site, and I have emailed to ask them why they have cancelled it, but it takes up to 3 days for a reply.

Has anyone else had this ?

Have you tried ordering it again from the website to see what happens?

Good idea, but they have taken it off the site now, so it must be out of stock.
